DAILY PRAYER

North Shore Adventist Academy students are earnest and powerful prayers.  In accordance with 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 prayer is an integral part of  the school day.  Each morning begins with either a teacher or a student sharing a devotional thought for the day. Students then worship God with joyful songs before joining with their prayer partners for some quiet time on their knees.

As our prayer wall shows, North Shore Adventist Academy students pray sincere prayers filled with praises for blessings God has provided and petitions for His continued guidance and grace.  Included in their prayers are those they learn about in their studies: government leaders, scientists, civil servants, missionaries and others who endeavor to make the world a better place for all to live.

Morning, lunch, and dismissal prayer times help North Shore Adventist Academy students develop and establish prayer as a personal habit.  Daily prayer provides our students the opportunity to talk openly and frequently with their Creator about who and what concerns them. It promotes a happy calmness and exuberance for life as our students discover through answered prayers that our God hears them, loves them and has great plans of prosperity for them.
